Social media influencer Olivia Neill has landed a global advertising contract with Rimmel London.

Neill, 20, who has been described as ‘Northern Irish TikTok royalty’ by Heat magazine, has 762,000 Instagram followers, 784,000 YouTube subscribers and 1.3 million TikTok followers.

Her content consists of light-hearted videos about her clothing, makeup and food as well as viral videos of Neill dancing with her cat.

Neill’s TikTok has a huge Gen Z generation following, which attracts brands who want to reach teenagers and young adults.

It is unclear how much the deal is worth.

In a video on her TikTok page last week, Neill, who grew up in south Belfast and lives in London, said that she could ‘finally share’ her ‘favourite mascara’ with everyone.

In addition to her new Rimmel deal, Neill has other brand partnerships with sunglasses brand Quay, as well as the clothing line Motel Rocks.

Neill, who also has a weekly podcast on Spotify, had once aspired to be a pilot but has admitted that her studies in school suffered as a result of her online career.

A close family member said: "It’s a great story for a wee girl from Northern Ireland to achieve her dreams. When the deal came through, she was very emotional and humbled in the best possible way. She is creative, relatable and has a brilliant sense of humour."
