Man charged after east Belfast car incident

A MAN is due before Belfast Magistrates Court today following an incident in the Sydenham Road area of east Belfast.
The 35-year-old has been charged with a number of driving offences.
It follows an earlier police appeal about a woman in distress on the Sydenham Road area around 7pm on Friday.
Police said the woman was seen getting out of a vehicle and running in the direction of Frazer Street.
Chief Inspector Mark Roberts said: "Our enquiries are continuing to try and identify the female involved."
