A MAN has died following a road crash in Armagh that occurred at the beginning of October.

The two-car collision occurred on the Newtownhamilton Road at around 1.40pm on Saturday, October 2.

A spokesperson for the PSNI's Collision Investigation Unit said a male passenger involved in the crash has since died.

The incident involved a silver Nissan Qashqai and a white Seat Leon vehicle, and police are also keen to speak with a man who assisted in moving the Seat Leon at the scene of the collision before leaving the area.

"We are appealing for witnesses to this collision or anyone who recalls seeing the vehicles prior to the collision or who may have dash cam footage to get in touch as soon as possible to assist the investigation," the spokesperson said.

"Anyone with information should contact police on 101 quoting reference number 911 02/10/21."
