A 46-year-old man has died following a road traffic collision between his motocycle and two cars on the Belfast Road, Bangor, on Wednesday August 25th, police have confirmed. 



Sergeant Irwin said: “The collision, involving a motorcycle, was reported to police at 3.35pm.



The motorcyclist was taken to hospital, but has sadly passed away."



Police in Newtownards have appealed for information.

Damage was caused to all three vehicles.



Two females who had been travelling in one of the vehicles were both left shaken as a result of the incident, with the female passenger sustaining minor cuts.



Police are appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time and witnessed the collision, or has dash cam footage, to contact 101, quoting reference number 1245 of 25/08/21.”
