Man held in New IRA probe

A 35-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the activities of the New IRA.
Police confirmed this morning he was arrested by detectives in the Terrorism Investigation Unit.
He is being held under the Terrorism Act on suspicion of involvement in four assaults involving firearms that occurred in the Creggan area of Derry on January 6, January 8 and February 6 this year.
