Police in Bangor are appealing for information about a shooting incident at Balligan Gardens.

It was reported shortly before 9.10pm on Monday evening that a man in his 30s had been shot in the area. 

He was taken to hospital after receiving injuries to his lower right leg.

Anyone with any information about this incident is asked to call 101 quoting the reference number 2156 of 05/07/21.
