Appeal for man and woman who helped Dungannon assault victim to contact police

A man charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm is due to appear at Dungannon Magistrates Court next month

A MAN and woman who helped an assault victim "to a place of safety" have been asked to help police.

The woman was attacked in a car park on Donaghmore Road in Dungannon between 9-10pm on Saturday, with a report made to police the next day.

A PSNI spokeswoman said two members of the public came to the woman's aid and they have appealed for them to come forward.
