Two men aged 35 and 62 have been arrested after police seized drugs worth £150,000 in south Belfast.

The pair were arrested on Tuesday following searches.

They were detained on suspicion of possession of class B drugs and possession of class B controlled drugs with intent to supply.

The 35-year-old is also being questioned about the separate seizure of class B drugs worth £675,000 earlier this year and possession of false identity documents.

Both men remained in custody.

Police asked anyone with information about the supply of illegal drugs to contact them on 101.
