LINE of Duty location spotters can find out if they were correct in their guesses with a website that plots the action around Belfast on a map.

Find That Location details most of the key outdoor scenes from series six of the hit BBC One show and which episode they appear in.

Some, like Irish News reader Donal McDaniel, already knew where Brentiss Prison was, having seen cast and crew shooting at Dominican College Fortwilliam in October - six months before Det Supt Jo Davidson was escorted there.

For those confused about the site of `Hickey's Bookmakers', robbed during a major plot point in the series opener, it is Sunningdale Park, off Cavehill Road in north Belfast, linking with Cooldarragh Park around the corner and allowing the scene to be filmed realistically rather than edited together from various streets in the city.

Beechwood House, a large residential block of flats located in the `Moss Heath' area of the fictional city where the series is set, is actually Willowbrook House on Mount Merrion Avenue in east Belfast.

The former Corpus Christi College campus doubles for Hillside Police Station, where the Operation Lighthouse team have been failing to solve the murder of investigative reporter Gail Vella.

Among the car parks where investigations are discussed are real locations at James Street South, behind the Department for Communities and Causeway Tower, Euro Car parks in Donegall Street and Titanic Car Park, which doubles as AC-12's own underground car park.

Private members club the Ulster Reform Club is the site of Supt Ted Hastings' meeting with the deputy chief constable and the Fountain Centre's Caffé Nero is where DI Steve Arnott meets his ex-girlfriend to discuss his transfer out of the iconic anti-corruption squad.

Meanwhile, there was a little more editing trickery for the production team who had DI Kate Fleming turn off Malone Road in south Belfast to Straid Dam near Ballynure in Co Antrim, which was standing in for Edge Park Reservoir where key scenes involving PC Pilkington were filmed.
