A further 16 people have died after testing positive for Covid-19 in Northern Ireland.

The Department of Health also confirmed another 527 positive cases of the virus.

There are 775 patients with Covid-19 in hospital including 68 in ICU, with 56 on ventilation.

The department also confirmed 129 care home outbreaks.

New research has revealed some churchgoers believe the coronavirus pandemic is a judgement from God.

A report by Queen's University Belfast also found that inter-Church co-operation has been more "frequent and united" during the pandemic than any other time in Irish history.
