THE Gobbins coastal path in Co Antrim is set to reopen to the public next Tuesday.

The tourist attraction at Islandmagee will feature a number of enhanced safety measures to maintain hygiene standards and social distancing in line with strict Covid-19 guidelines.

All tours have to pre-booked with visitors asked to use contactless payment methods where possible and adhere to a one-way system.

Mayor of Mid and East Antrim, Peter Johnston said: "The reopening of The Gobbins is a welcome boost to the industry and indicative of council’s dedication to it".
