Shots fired at house in west Belfast

 Police said the incident was reported at 1040pm and the shot was fires in the Laurelbank area.

A shot was fired at a house in west Belfast late last night.

Police said the incident was reported at 10.40pm and the shot was fires in Laurelbank in the Poleglass area.

Inspector Robbie Jeffers said:“Enquiries are continuing to establish the circumstances surrounding this incident.

“We would appeal to anyone who witnessed anything suspicious in the area at the time of the incident, to contact police on 101 quoting reference number 2114 of 19/08/20.

"Alternatively, information can also be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 which is 100% anonymous and gives people the power to speak up and stop crime."
