POLICE have said suspected class A, B and C drugs were seized during a search of a house in west Belfast.

A 55-year-old woman was arrested and cash was also uncovered at the property in Dunmurry on Saturday afternoon.

Meanwhile, a 33-year-old man was arrested following an unrelated search of a property at Kilbroney House, Greenway in east Belfast on Saturday afternoon.

Police said they seized thousands of suspected Diazepam tablets along with a small amount of herbal cannabis and two mobile phones.

A spokesman said it followed the interception of a parcel destined for the address which contained thousands of suspected Pregablin tablets.

The man was arrested on suspicion of importation of a Class C drug and attempted possession with intent to supply a class C controlled drug. He was released on bail pending further enquiries.
