SUSPECTED cannabis with an estimated street value of more than £80,000 has been seized by police in Belfast.

The drugs and a large quantity of cash were found following a search of three properties in the city.

The operation was carried by detectives from the PSNI's Organised Crime Unit and the Organised Crime Task Force.

A PSNI spokesman said two men, aged 25 and 54, were arrested and remained in custody last night.
