A book about the RHI scandal in Northern Ireland - which ultimately led to the collapse of the Stormont Executive - has been turned into an audio book.

Written by Northern Ireland journalist, Sam McBride, `Burned: The Inside Story of the 'Cash-for-Ash' Scandal and Northern Ireland's Secretive New Elite', was published last year.

The book, which has been nominated for the Christopher Ewart-Biggs Memorial Prize, became a Sunday Times bestseller in the UK and an Irish Times bestseller in the Republic.

Reprinted eight times by Merrion Press since its launch last October, the book has now been turned into an audio book, narrated by the author, Sam McBride.

Speaking about the success of the book, Mr McBride said: "When this book was published, I never anticipated such a reaction from readers nor that there would be a demand for an audio book.

"The support of ordinary members of the public has been overwhelming and gratifying.

"I trust this format allows more people to hear the truth about what some of the most powerful people in Northern Ireland did with their money in the belief that their secretive methods would forever prevent their actions being revealed".
