TEAMS of volunteers came together in north Belfast on Tuesday night to search for a missing schoolboy who may have sustained a head injury.

Noah Donohoe (14) from south Belfast was last seen in the Northwood Road/Premier Drive area just after 6pm on Sunday. It is believed he left his home at about 5.30pm.

He was riding a black Apollo mountain bike and was wore a khaki green North Face jacket, a tie-dye light blue and navy hoodie, grey sweat-shorts with an emblem on one leg and had a khaki rucksack. He was wearing a black skateboarding helmet.

Noah was spotted at Ormeau Avenue at 5.45pm and a short time later on Royal Avenue in the city centre. Just before 6pm a boy matching his description was seen falling of his bike and possibly sustaining a head injury in the North Queen Street area.

It is understood he got back onto his bike and travelled towards Northwood where he is believed to his abandoned all his clothing and was seen cycling naked.

Police then believe he left his bike and continued on foot.

His family have told police that the behaviour is out of character.

"There have been no further confirmed sightings of Noah since 6.08pm on Sunday," Chief Inspector Gavin Kirkpatrick said.

"Police officers supported by air support unit, police dogs and our tactical support group have been searching the area alongside community rescue service colleagues and local volunteers."

Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101.
