Police investigating the discovery of a Continuity IRA 'Brexit day bomb' in Co Armagh in February have seized a vehicle.

The bomb was found attached to a refrigerated trailer at the Silverwood Industrial Estate on Lurgan on February 4.

In a statement to the Irish News, the Continuity IRA said the bomb was intended to coincide with Britain’s exit from the EU.

A spokesman for the PSNI said a property was searched in the Lurgan area yesterday and that a “number of items were seized including a vehicle, mobile phones and clothing”.

They have been taken away for further examination.
