FOUR men have been arrested and charged with the supply of Class B drugs following a police operation into the criminal activities of the East Belfast UDA.

The men, aged 27, 28 and two 34-year-olds, were detained by officers from the Paramilitary Crime Task Force on Tuesday.

The arrests followed three searches in the Kilcooley area of Bangor during which drugs with an estimated street value of £2,000 were discovered at one of the locations.

A quantity of cash was also seized.

Two of the men, aged 34 and 27, were charged with being concerned in the supply of Class B drugs.

The other two were charged in relation to possession of a Class B drug with intent to supply, possession of a Class B drug and possession of criminal property.

All four are due to appear at Newtownards Magistrates Court on May 16.
