The Twitter account of dissident republican group Saoradh has been suspended following the murder of journalist Lyra McKee in Derry.

Saoradh is closely linked to the New IRA which has already admitted responsibility for Ms McKee's killing.

According to Twitter, the group's @EireSaoradh account had been suspended.

The 29-year-old, from north Belfast, was shot dead by a gunman from the group known as the New IRA during a disturbance in the Creggan estate in Derry on April 18.

She had moved to the city just over a year ago.

British Prime Minister Theresa May, Taoiseach Leo Varadkar and President Michael D Higgins will be among the people attending her funeral in St Anne's Cathedral in Belfast this afternoon.
