A main shopping street in Belfast city centre which has been closed since the Primark fire will re-open to pedestrians tomorrow.

The cordon from the corner of Donegall Place to the corner of Fountain Street will be removed.

The street had been closed to pedestrians since a fire destroyed the historic Bank Buildings - home to a huge Primark store - in August.

The area around the Bank Buildings has been closed to traffic since the fire.

A spokeswoman for Belfast City Council said Abacus Beads will also reopen in its original Castle Street shop.
