Man (40) released on police bail following Greenvale Hotel tragedy

A 40-YEAR-OLD man questioned on suspicion of manslaughter following the Greenvale Hotel tragedy has been released on police bail.

He was arrested on Tuesday by detectives investigating the events that unfolded at the Cookstown venue on St Patrick's Day, which claimed the lives of three teenagers.

On Friday evening the man was released on police bail pending further enquiries.

Hotel owner Michael McElhatton (52), who was also arrested on Tuesday, was released on police bail on Wednesday night, to return for further questioning at a future date.
