A 38-YEAR-OLD man is to stand trial charged with stealing more than £10,000 from a bank.
Jamie Scott Leitch appeared before Belfast Magistrates Court today to face one count of theft.
The defendant, of Ardkeen Crescent in east Belfast, is accused of stealing £10,700 in cash belonging to Northern Bank trading as Danske Bank.
The alleged crime happened between September 6-7, 2017.
No further details were disclosed during a brief preliminary enquiry hearing.
Leitch was released on continuing bail of £500.
He will be tried at Belfast Crown Court on a date yet to be fixed.
