A 42-YEAR-OLD man was arrested yesterday after cocaine was seized in searches as part of an investigation into the south-east Antrim UDA.

The arrest was carried out by the PSNI's Paramilitary Crime Task Force (PCTF).

It followed searches in the Larne area in which officers seized a quantity of suspected cocaine.

PSNI detective inspector Lynne Knox urged anyone with concerns or information about drugs in their communities to phone police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

PCTF was established by the PSNI, HM Revenue and Customs and the National Crime Agency as part of a Stormont executive plan on tackling paramilitary activity, criminality and organised crime.
