Police 'not looking for anyone else' after man suffered stab wound in Derry

Police have said they are "not looking for anyone else" in connection with an incident in Derry during which a man suffered stab injuries

POLICE have said they are "not looking for anyone else" in connection with an incident in Derry during which a man suffered stab injuries.

It happened at around 6.20pm on Saturday in the Foyle Street area of the city.

A man aged in his thirties was taken to hospital for treatment for a suspected stab wound although police said his injuries "are not believed to be life-threatening".

A spokesman added: "At this stage, police are not looking for anyone else in connection with this incident".
