TWO men in their twenties remained in custody last night after being arrested on suspicion of the murder of a 29-year-old man in a Co Down flat.
The body of Padraig Fox was discovered at Burrendale Park Road in Newcastle at around 1.45pm on Saturday.
Police launched a murder investigation following the results of a post-mortem examination on Sunday evening.
Officers were yesterday given an extra 12 hours to question a 21-year-old man about the murder.
A second man, aged 26, was still being questioned yesterday.
Mr Fox is survived my his mother, father, sisters and wider family circle.
Funeral arrangements have yet to be announced.
