Three men have been arrested by police investigating an incident during which a man was seriously assaulted in Co Antrim.
The men aged 30, 31 and 33 were detained on suspicion of aggravated burglary after several planned searches in the Larne area on Wednesday.
The victim of the assault, who is in his 20s, suffered life changing injuries after being beaten with sledgehammers in the Woodvale area of Larne on Sunday.
