A YOUNG mother-of-two, who was found dead at a house in west Belfast, has been described as "a great friend and neighbour" who will be sadly missed.

Ursula McCabe, who was in her late 20s, was found unresponsive at a house in the Beechmount area in the early hours of Tuesday.

Police, who attended the scene, have said that a post mortem examination is due to be carried out to determine the cause of death.

Tributes were paid last night to McCabe from the Whiterock area.

Friends and family took to social media to pay their respects.

One friend wrote: "Can't believe what I have heard today. When I first met you, you really helped me through tough times. Always made me laugh and always loved partying with you...rest in peace."

Whiterock Westrock Historical & Cultural Society said Ms McCabe would be "sadly missed" adding they had "lost a great friend and neighbour".

Sinn Féin councillor Steven Corr said there was a "sense of disbelief" and shock within the community at the news.

Mr Corr said it was the second tragedy to touch the family in recent times, as the Ms Cabe's father Joe had died in November 2016.
