Twelve vintage tractors have been stolen from an outbuilding in Co Down.

They were among a "large amount of farm machinery" taken during the theft from the property on Killynure Road in Carryduff.

Described as being of "great sentimental value" to the owner, 10 red and grey Massey Ferguson tractors, an orange Nutfield Universal and a blue Dexta were stolen.

Chief Inspector Jonathan Wilson said the theft was reported to police just after 5pm on Thursday and officers found entry had been forced to "a number of outbuildings".

A low-loading trailer and power washer were also stolen.
