Detectives have appealed for information after a 20-year-old man was shot in the leg in north Belfast.

Police say the man received the injury after being approached by three masked men in the Churchill Street area of New Lodge at around 10.30pm on Thursday May 17.

He was treated at the scene by ambulance staff.
