THE FUNERAL has taken place of mother-of-two Lisa Gow who was killed by a stolen car in north Belfast.
Ms Gow died after being hit by a stolen car on the Ballysillan Road on Thursday morning. She had been walking along the footpath when she was struck shortly before 11am.
Her funeral took place at St Andrew’s Church in Glencairn this afternoon, followed by a service at Roselawn Crematorium.
Lisa's sister Kelly Ann made an emotional tribute to her during the service, saying she lived for her two children Olivia and Riley, before saying goodbye to their “angel”.
The Police Ombudsman is investigating the circumstances of a police chase of the stolen car that hit Ms Gow.

Police said their pursuit had ended before the fatal crash.
However the police watchdog said video footage showed police were "a matter of seconds" behind the car before the tragedy happened.
Martin Alexander Nelson (39) of Ardoyne Road, Belfast appeared in court on Friday charged with causing death by dangerous driving and other offences. He was remanded into custody until May 18.
