Titanic Belfast is set to mark its sixth birthday this weekend by selling 1,200 tickets to the attraction at a cut-price £6 each.

Half of the discounted tickets will be sold on a first come, first served basis from 9am on Friday March 30 at the tourist attraction’s ticketing desk, with the remaiining 600 available from the same time on Saturday March 31.

Entrance includes access to SS Nomadic, the last remaining White Star vessel.

The attraction, which opened in 2012, is planning additional celebrations with an array of activities for all ages from tomorrow until Tuesday April 3.

Children can follow Titanic Belfast’s Easter trail alongside the story of the Titanic, from her conception in the early 1900s, through her construction and launch, to her famous maiden voyage and tragic end to win a prize as well as meet the mascots. The party will continue in Hickson’s Point, Titanic Belfast’s newest event space, where visitors can be one of the first to experience the tipples and nibbles and food of the shipyard whilst enjoying live music in the authentic public house setting from Saturday onwards.

In 2016, Titanic Belfast was named the World’s Leading Tourist Attraction at the prestigious World Travel Awards, finishing ahead of eight global finalists, including Ferrari World Abu Dhabi and the Las Vegas Strip.
