TWO men questioned by police arrested under the Terrorism Act have been released from custody.

One of the men, aged 41, was released unconditionally, while a 48-year-old man was released pending a report to the PPS.

A 29-year-old man also remained in police custody last night after detectives were granted additional time to question him.

The arrests, made by detectives from the PSNI’s Terrorism Investigation Unit under section 41 of the act, followed a search of the van at Levin Road in Lurgan on Wednesday as well as follow-up searches in the Lurgan area on Thursday.
