HOMES were evacuated in north Belfast last night after a pipe bomb was thrown.

Police have arrested a 27-year-old man following the attack which took place at around 11.55pm in the North Queen Street area.

Cordons have since been removed and all roads re-opened.

Police have appealed for information.
