A 19-year-old man has been charged with murder following the death of a woman in Lisburn, Co Antrim on Christmas Day.

Jayne Toal Reat (43), a nurse at Craigavon Area Hospital, was stabbed at a house in the Mornington Lane area on Christmas morning. Another woman and a man also sustained injuries in the same incident.

Detectives from Serious Crime Branch have charged the man with murder and two counts of attempted murder. He is expected to appear before Craigavon Magistrates Court tomorrow.
