A minibus and car have been set alight in the grounds of a school in Co Antrim.

Police in Ballymena said they received a report at around 9pm on Saturday that the vehicles were set on fire at St Louis Grammar School on the Cullybackey Road.

Both were destroyed.

Police said broken windows and other damage to a second minibus was noted by officers at the scene.

A spokesman said they are treating the blaze as arson and appealed to anyone who noticed suspicious activity in the vicinity of the school to contact detectives or Crimestoppers.
