TWO men have been arrested in Omagh as part of an investigation into a dissident republican parade in Lurgan earlier this year.

The arrests are understood to be in relation to an unnotified parade in the Kilwilkie area of the town on April 15 which involved a masked colour party.

The men, aged 46 and 23, were held on suspicion of offences under the Public Processions Act and Section 13 of the Terrorism Act.

Both are currently assisting police with their enquiries.
