A 27-YEAR-OLD man found dead in Co Tyrone last week had been facing kidnap charges, a court has heard.

Ramunas Macnoris had been due to face charges linked to the murder of Gediminas Stauskas in Coalisland two years ago.

The Lithuanian, of Orpheus Drive, Dungannon, was accused of kidnapping a man in Newry on September 17 2015 and causing grievous bodily harm.

He also faced charges of having a handgun with intent to cause fear of unlawful violence and having cocaine.

Dungannon Magistrates Court was told of Mr Macnoris's death at a review hearing yesterday.
