A WOMAN was treated in hospital after two men attacked her during a burglary at house in south Belfast.

The woman and a young child were in the house in Cooke Place when the men came in shortly after 9am on Monday.

Police said one of the men was around 5'10", of stocky build, with a bald head, stubble and spoke with a Belfast accent.

He was wearing a dark hip-length puffa jacket and dark trousers.

The second man was of stocky build and was wearing a dark waterproof hooded jacket and black gloves.
