Man (56) shot in leg in ‘paramilitary-style' attack in west Belfast

A MAN has been injured in a paramilitary-style shooting in west Belfast.

It happened on Sunday evening at about 7.45pm in the Glenwood Drive area of Poleglass.

The 56-year-old was shot several times in the leg.

He has been taken to hospital for treatment to his injuries.

Police described the incident as a "paramilitary style shooting".

They appealed for anyone with information to contact them or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
