RESTAURANT critic Jay Rayner took to the stage in Belfast last night to share his own food laws from his new book The Ten (Food) Commandments.

The Master Chef judge was at The Mac to explain what he believed are the most important foodie rules to live by.

Among the rules from the award-winning food expert are why thou shalt always eat with thy hands, why thou should most definitely worship leftovers, and why thou must celebrate the stinkiest of foods.

It was Rayner's second show in the city since his sold-out My Dining Hell in the Black Box last year.
