A 13-YEAR-OLD boy has been seriously injured in a crash at a motocross track in Co Derry.
The boy was airlifted to Altnagelvin Hospital in Derry following the crash at the track in Bellarena, outside Limavady, yesterday evening.
It is understood he underwent emergency surgery at Altnagelvin.
A Coastguard helicopter from Prestwick in Scotland and an Irish Coastguard helicopter from Sligo were involved in the rescue operation.
