A 16-year-old boy has been assaulted by a gang of five men in north Belfast.

The youngster was kicked and punched to the ground in the Waterworks, near the wardens office, at around 6pm on January 15.

The assault stopped after a man intervened. Police have appealed for this person to get in touch.
