A MANdressed in school uniform stole a £300 fire extinguisher from a branch of McDonald's, police have said.

The man, in his early twenties, arrived at McDonald's Sprucefield in a coach from Banbridge at around 3am on Tuesday December 22.

The group on the coach are associated with young farmers from across the north, who were dressed in school uniform.

The man is described as being of medium build, with short dark hair and was wearing blue jeans, a white shirt and a school tie.

After the alleged theft the man left the scene in a blue van, driven by another man.

Police said that they would like to speak to both men and ask that anyone with information about the incident contact police on 101.
