Bookmaker's staff held at knifepoint in Derry

Police are searching for a man who held up staff at knifepoint at a bookmaker’s shop in Derry.

Detective sergeant Brian Reid said the robbery happened at Blucher Street in the Bogside at around 7.30pm on Tuesday.

The man made off on foot with an undisclosed sum in cash. He was described as being around 6ft tall and wearing a dark coat and tracksuit bottoms.
