UFC Dublin t-shirt leaves north out of Ireland map

Reebok's UFC t-shirt has annoyed fans by cutting the north out of the map of Ireland

Irish Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) fans have been expressing outrage over a t-shirt being sold to promote an upcoming Dublin event that features a map of Ireland with the north cut out.

The t-shirt, made by clothing giant Reebok, is being sold online as the sport is set to host a big event in Dublin's 3 Arena on Saturday night, with USA's Dustin Poirier set to face Donegal's Joe Duffy.

Fans have taken to Twitter to express confusion and annoyance at the t-shirt which simply has the words 'Ireland UFC' and the map of the country with the north omitted.

UFC, which features opponents taking part in mixed martial arts fights, has a strong following in Ireland and participants including Dublin's Conor McGregor have become stars as the sport grows in popularity.
