One arrest after police seize suspected drugs worth over £65,000

Suspected counterfeit cigarettes, cash and alcohol were also recovered during Tuesday’s policing operation in Belfast

One person has been arrested after suspected drugs with a street value of over £65,000 and over 11,000 suspected counterfeit cigarettes were seized in Belfast.

The items were recovered during police searches in the north, west and south of the city on Tuesday.

A sum of cash and several crates of alcohol were also seized by officers during the operation.



Police arrested one person on suspicion of a number of drugs offences and has since been released on bail to allow for further enquiries.
