A man has been beaten with bats in north Belfast.
Police said a number of masked men gained entry to a property at Woodvale Avenue between 9pm and 9.30pm on Wednesday November 28.
A police spokesman said the men caused damage to the gate and shattered windows.
"Whilst at the address the men attacked the occupant with bats and he was later treated in hospital for his injuries."
Police have appealed for information about the incident.
