Among the other pedestrians to lose their lives was Mervyn Millar from Randalstown, Co Antrim, who was described as a "good man".

Mr Millar, who was known by the nickname 'Bo' and believed to be aged in his late 50s, was walking home to his house at Red Row, Groggan, when he was struck by a car in October.
