A 19-YEAR-OLD man has been charged with endangering an aircraft after a laser was shone at a police helicopter.
The laser was directed at the helicopter while it monitored crowds attending the Northern Ireland vs Germany football match on Thursday evening.
The teenager, who was arrested in north Belfast on Thursday night, has been charged with endangering the safety of an aircraft and shining a light to dazzle or distract a pilot.
He is due to appear in court in Belfast on Thursday November 2.
