HOLLYWOOD couple Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis have settled a legal action over paparazzi pictures of their baby daughter appearing on a newspaper website, their Belfast-based lawyer has confirmed.

Paul Tweed said the movie stars have resolved proceedings against the publishers of the MailOnline, with an undertaking to limit future photographs.

An undisclosed sum is also to be donated to a charity of the actors' choice.

Kutcher and Kunis sued after images of their daughter Wyatt appeared in 2015.

The couple, who issued proceedings at the High Court in London, insisted they did not know the photographs were being taken during a trip to the beach.

Mr Tweed confirmed the case against Associated Newspapers has now settled.

In a joint statement he said: "Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis had issued legal proceedings over the publication in the MailOnline of images of their infant daughter, Wyatt, which had been taken by a paparazzo using long lens photography during a family outing to the beach.

"Ashton, Mila and the MailOnline are pleased to confirm through their legal representatives that they have reached a satisfactory resolution of their legal action, which includes an agreement restricting publication of photographs in the future and also a donation to a charity nominated by Ashton and Mila."
